For the first modifications, I changed the bricks to be larger and beige, made the sphere rougher and slightly darker, and made the wood resemble the enclosures for my speakers.

Next, I got a few shaders (KMVenus, KMFlame, KMPuffyclouds) from here.

I then changes those to add some twistiness to the venus texture, some height to the flames, and make the clouds look more like an RIT sky.
